Ashley Barnhart- Maid of Honor
I met Lacey about 27 and a half years ago where we shared a womb. I dominated our relationship at this time, occupying all the room and hogging all the necessary nutrients.
That all quickly changed on July 28, 1986 when we made our exciting entry into the world. Lacey has happily taken advantage of her 2 minute head start on life since that day, always having to do everything before me. She was the first to visit the emergency room as a child, stick a Jujubes in her nose, get her head stuck in a banister (never did I follow her lead), have a boyfriend, kiss a boy, get her own car, get her own cell phone, get pulled over (I laughed, she cried), tweeze her eyebrows (thank you for leading on that one sis- we both needed it!), wear makeup, sneak out of the house, drink a beer, lose her virginity (ironic how that comes after a beer!?), have a baby, get a college degree and now to get married! Don't worry, I will be just 4 weeks behind her on getting married!
I have been blessed to call her my best friend and my sister for all these years. I have always looked up to her and admittedly had a slight jealousy of her beauty, creativity, bravery, sense of style and positive outlook on life.
I have already watched her become an amazing woman and mother and I look forward to her new journey as a wife.

I first met Lacey when she was about Kobe's age and her family would come down to take in the Old Settler's Day activities in Lodgepole. For those of you who remember, this is where she had a perm and rocked the unibrow!
It wasn't until 2001, when Lacey started coming to Lodgepole for games and weekends, where our friendship really began. This is when Lacey trended the short, flipped-out hairstyle with the back buzzed! One of my fondest memories of this time in our friendship is of us taking someone's car out on a Friday night in Lodgepole. A bunch of girls were piled in the car and I sat on Lacey's lap in the drivers' seat. She controlled the pedals and I controlled the steering wheel as we jumped the dips in town. That only being one of the many small town moments that resulted in eye-watering laughs that I am sure we could have gotten into a lot of trouble doing!
From then on, mainly since she moved home from Lincoln in 2010, we have had so many special moments together and I couldn't be more thankful for our history together creating our lasting friendship. Lacey has grown into an absolutely beautiful woman and mother, and I have never seen her happier and more in love than she is now with Clint!

Lacey and I met when she interviewed for a position in our Facilities department at Cabela's in 2011. I remember getting an email from her one day, asking about the department and telling me she was also an interior designer! My first thought was "Oh my gosh! It would be so much fun to have someone else my age to work with AND another interior designer!". A few days later, Julie introduced us at a volleyball game and then Lacey interviewed with our deparment (and got the job, obviously).
At this time, I didn't know anything about "The Barnhart Twins". A week or so later, I was at the bowling alley raking sand for sand volleyball, and ran into "Lacey" and Julie. They were sitting at a table, having a drink. I walked right over and said "Hey girls! How's it going?" Julie said hi, but "Lacey" kind of gave me a weird look and smiled. I continued chatting, but "Lacey" never said a word! I thought "Well, jeez. This is weird. I thought Lacey and I were on pretty good terms. I mean, she IS about to start working with me!" A few seconds later Julie said "Jennifer, this is Ashley Barnhart, Lacey's twin sister." My eyes got huge, and I'm sure I turned beet red! I said "No way. You're her twin?! What?!" Ashley just nodded her head and Julie laughed. Everything made so much more sense! No wonder "Lacey" was looking at me like she'd never met me! Hahaha...
The moment Lacey started working in our department, I knew we would be fast friends. We had so much in common with our interior design background and goofy personalities, that it was pretty easy to have a great time at work together. We quickly developed a great relationship and even got the nickname "The Designing Diva's" by some of our fellow coworkers...I mean, we only do amazing work, so it was pretty fitting! We made quite the duo. We were able to work on a few large projects together, and went on a few work trips together, which was always so much fun.
Even though Lacey and I have only known each other for a few years, I feel like we're long lost sisters! She is one of the kindest, caring, sweetest people I know. I am so blessed and happy to have her in my life and am so lucky to be able to help celebrate her and Clint's special day!

Katelyn Sylvester
Katelyn and I met in 2011 through the local chapter of the TeamMates mentoring program. I have had the privilege of mentoring her over the past two years and have come to love this amazingly talented and sweet girl. She has become a big part of my life and I couldn't imagine not having her share this special day with me as I am positive it will become only one of our many special memories together.
